Week 2 - Welcome back to studies and Blogging!

Week 2 of my last semester at Unitec and I honestly feel like Im getting nowhere! Week 1 comprised of meeting our lecturers, assessments divvied out, text books needed and course requirements outlined.  Although I was feeling slightly overwhelmed, I plugged in all my assignments due for my 4 papers this semester thinking that will help. Im not a dis-organised person. Far from it. If anything, Im almost anal with my multi-tasking/organisational prowess. I have 3 or 4 devices to remind me (all Apple which I know my lecturer Robert will LOVE (not) when he reads this), which remind me to remind me! But with lots of balls to juggle (excuse the pun!) – work, studies, housework and kids I really need to get my A into G!!

Cue second class for Strategic Brand Management and the prompt that we have to do a blog as part of our assessment. I would like to add, that I did initially remember, then forgot (because it was part of assessment 5 so I thought ok not due till June), then remembered again this morning in class. More like a “bugger” to be honest. My brain had turned to mush from last week that this slipped my usually organised radar.

This is my first attempt ever at a blog but I thought I better get THIS started at the very least! I just hope what I write is not drivel. I am really enjoying my Strategic brand management class and our lecturer is extremely experienced, straight forward and a plethora of marketing knowledge (do I get extra points for that?). My blog is a presentation of my work with SBM this semester and I hope you enjoy it .
